Howdy!

Well its here at last: Pride 2008.

Plans for the Parade are finalised and the excitement (especially Janet’s) is tangible!! Although Andi won’t show us his cozzie until the day I know he is already planning an early practice with the false eyelashes!!!

Dawn has choreographed and re-choreographed the dance a few times and I know it will look great on the day. It’s also good to see so many old faces returning to take part in the parade – its going to be great fun!!

As an extra event this year we have been approached by the Pride organising team to run an additional “Absolute Beginners” class so we will be running the event on Monday 18th August. The event will be held at the Thompson’s Arms, admission is free a there will be a Jacobs table. The aim of the evening is to give anyone the opportunity to learn a couple of dances so that they can join in with our outside event at Churchill’s on Sunday 24th August. The evening is open to all and it will be fun!!

After Pride our next outdoor event will be outside the Rembrandt on Sunday 28th September from 3.00 – 7.00 p.m. hopefully the sun will shine and we will have a great afternoon before we move inside for the winter.

Well that’s all for now

Take care and smile
